PROTECTION & CONTROL RELAY PANEL

General

This specification defines the minimum technical requirements for the engineering, design, materials, manufacturing, assembly, wiring, factory testing, inspection, delivery, and documentation of Protection & Control Relay Panels for Medium-Voltage (MV) and High-Voltage (HV) substations.

The panel can provide devices as client requirement:

Environmental Conditions

Panels shall be designed for:

  • Ambient temperature: –5°C to +50°C (or as specified)
  • Relative humidity: up to 95% non-condensing
  • Installation altitude: ≤ 1000 m
  • Seismic rating: IEC 60068-3-3 or equivalent
  • Indoor or outdoor use as defined in datasheet

Construction Requirements

    • 2 mm (body)
    • 3 mm (doors/base frame)

  • Modular design, bolted frame
  • Powder coating: RAL 7035 (80–120μm thickness) or client requested
  • Rear access via hinged door
  • Cable entry: bottom (default) or top (optional)

  • Outdoor panels: minimum IP54, with canopy
